En torno al fútbol, deporte rey, han sucedió y suceden los mas grandes acontecimientos deportivos. Como ejemplo, solo basta recordar la primera organización de la Copa Mundial USA 1994 realizado en este país y que fue el pasaporte de entrada al mágico mundo del fútbol “Soccer”, como se le conoce en Estados Unidos. Sin embargo, el fútbol que lo es prácticamente todo para nosotros tiene en este país su perfecto complemento en estos tiempos se vive a través de la Major League Soccer (MLS).
Este será también una inmejorable oportunidad para que nuestros lectores vivencien a través de nuestras paginas digitales las hazañas de sus héroes deportivos.
Es que Deporte Gráfico Maryland, haciendo honor al máximo lema deportivo “altius, fortius”, (salta más alto y se el más fuerte), es una revista deportiva digital dirigido a todas las edades y especialmente a los jóvenes en quienes centraremos nuestros mayores esfuerzos para grabar en ellos el ideal de cuerpo sano, en mente sana.
Para cumplir con ese propósito, nos hemos comprometido a traerles todas las semanas las incidencias deportivas que suceden en nuestra comunidad, nacional y el mundo en general. A través de nuestras páginas podrán recrear las hazañas y proezas de sus ídolos deportivos.
El periodismo deportivo hispano no puede quedarse atrás y tiene que ponerse a la vanguardia. Ese es nuestro reto. Tarea nada fácil, que afrontamos con gran entusiasmo por ese viejo conocido nuestro: el fútbol.
La Major League Soccer (MLS), liga de fútbol profesional norteamericana, al igual que nosotros, rompió fuegos un 6 de abril de 1996 con el reto de desarrollar el deporte rey en este inmenso país hasta la fecha ya transcurrieron 27 años y nosotros volvemos a ser compañeros de aventuras en ese largo camino que hemos empezado a recorrer. Seguiremos de cerca al DC United, equipo que representa a la ciudad capital, Washington DC, sin menoscabo de otros deportes como el beisbol, básquetbol, football americano y el boxeo.
El fútbol aficionado del área metropolitana, que desde hace años ha adquirido gran fuerza y seriedad en su organización, será un campo donde brindaremos lo mejor de lo nuestro localmente.
Para complementar ese esfuerzo contamos con el invalorable servicio de corresponsales en El Salvador, España, Perú y México, para llevar a sus hogares la excelencia del fútbol latinoamericano.
La hinchada, los fanáticos fieles, son ustedes, nuestra razón de ser, aquellos con quienes recorreremos juntos las más hermosas paginas deportivas que inspiren e inscriban nuestros mejores deportistas. Ustedes serán la garra y el pundonor que nos impulsara a seguir adelante.

Our mission
Around soccer, the king of sports, the biggest sporting events have happened and are happening. As an example, it is enough to remember the first organization of the 1994 USA World Cup held in this country and which was the passport to enter the magical world of soccer, as it is known in the United States. It is that Deporte Gráfico Maryland, honoring the maximum sports motto “altius, fortius”, (jump higher and be the strongest), is a digital sports magazine aimed at all ages and especially young people on whom we will focus our greatest efforts to engrave in them the ideal of a healthy body, a healthy mind.
To fulfill this purpose, we have committed to bringing you every week the sports incidents that happen in our community, national and the world in general. Through our pages they will be able to recreate the feats and feats of their sports idols.
